Small Groups
At Spring Valley we see small groups (12-15 people) as a great opportunity for people to connect with one another and grow in their faith. Small groups are offered in a semester (fall, Spring, Summer) format lasting in 6-12 week shifts. These once a week meetings occur at various times and places. Topics studied are varied and include such things as: specific books of the Bible, Finding God at the Movies, going deeper into Sunday’s message, strengthening your marriage, and classic and contemporary books by Christian author’s to name a few.
Depending on the time of year groups offered include:
Adult Small Groups for Men
Adult Small Groups for Women
Adult Small Groups for Couples
Community Service Groups
Athletic Groups
New Believer Groups
and more!!!

From time to time, we offer classes for individuals who desire to grow deeper in their faith in a classroom setting.

These classes are generally offered on weeknights and occasionally after the Sunday morning worship service.

Classes are taught by our staff, and authorities in the field of study.

Topic’s of study include such things as:

Old Testament Survey
New Testament Survey
Christian Doctine 101, 201, 301

the Connection

The Connection

The Connection is the new college ministry at Spring Valley Church. What this ministry looks like is a family from Spring Valley will adopt a college student and help them feel welcomed to this community. The idea is just to bless them and show them the love of Christ through home cooked meals or cookies on occasion or maybe rides to the store. The important part of these relationships is to let the students know that there are people that care about them and can listen to them while they go through this transition in life called, the college years.

As we continue to grow this ministry together we will have special events, announced on the Connection Facebook page, and by email. A college small group is another possibility as we grow.

As mentioned in our Values Statement, “the church will be dependent upon God for its sustenance, growth and direction” by being prayer empowered. To achieve this, we have two formats for sharing and receiving prayer request’s: Facebook Prayer Page  (open only to those accepted in as a Prayer Member) and an email group.

To get deeper in your prayer life, you can join the Prayer Team or participate in any of its offerings:
