Sharing God’s love with others both near and far.

Spring Valley Church encourages individuals to stretch their faith, think of others first, and discover and utilize their gifts through serving in missions locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

As followers of Jesus, we believe we must make a difference in our community and world by serving others.

We view our role of being involved with missions to encompass three levels: local / college (Allendale and surrounding areas), regional (various areas of the greater United States) and international (various nations throughout the world). While we have ongoing ministry relationships with the organizations listed below, we also have openness to go wherever we feel called to help.

Young Life | Allendale

Young Life seeks to carry the message of Jesus Christ into that tumultuous tide and points teenagers toward life as they were created to live it. Young Life leaders meet with kids on their turf in the interest of friendship. As leaders get to know teenagers, they are able to share the love of Jesus Christ through platforms like Young Life club, campaigners and trips to camp.

Whether kids are seeking answers or just acceptance, Young Life is there for them, armed with a desire for fun and the ultimate message of hope.

Campus Ministry | GVSU

Campus Ministry @ GVSU believes that meeting the spiritual needs of college students  is crucially important.  Many students face personal, relational, and spiritual struggles, and some feel pressure from those who reject or question their values or faith. This ministry is  privately funded through supportive churches and individuals who share their  commitment to care for the personal and spiritual lives of GVSU students.

Transforming Lives, Here and Abroad

Kenya Matters is a non-profit organization committed to demonstrating compassion in action through the material support of orphan children in Karai, Kenya. Many charities with a focus on Africa, provide valuable resources to individuals and communities; we are pleased to be part of that effort. Kenya Matters is distinguished by a lean organizational structure which allows us to not only support the community financially, but also by building real relationships between African families and those of our volunteers and donors.
